The General Foundation of the University of Alcalá is located downtown Alcalá de Henares, in the old quarters.

From Madrid

By train:

From Chamartín, Nuevos Ministerios, Recoletos or Atocha stations, there are commuter trains of the C2 line (Chamartín-Guadalajara) that stop at the Alcalá de Henares station. All trains schedules are on the RENFE webpage.
There is a train approximately every 3 minutes in rush hour and every 10 minutes the rest of the time. It takes 37 minutes to go from Atocha to Alcalá City.

You can also get to Alcalá with the new commuter trains Civis and save considerable time in comparison to the regular train service.

By bus:

In the bus interchange of Avenida de América, there are buses of the “Continental Auto, S.A.” company going to Alcalá de Henares. It is approximately a 30-minute ride.

• Line 223 Alcalá de Henares (the closest bus stop is located in Vía Complutense, in front of the CCOO Headquarters).

From Torrejón there are also buses going to Alcalá de Henares.

• Line 225 covers the route Torrejón-Alcalá (downtown).

By car:

From Madrid you can get to Alcalá de Henares via Autovía A-2 Madrid-Barcelona. There are several exits to enter the city, although the first one is Exit 23, that you may take to get downtown. You can see the route in Google Maps.

From Guadalajara

By train:

From Guadalajara and Azuqueca stations there are commuter trains going to Alcalá Universidad (outside campus) and Alcalá de Henares (City). There is a train every 15 minutes in rush hour and every 30 minutes the rest of the time. It takes 24 minutes to go from Guadalajara to Alcalá City. The trains schedules are on the RENFE webpage.

By bus:

From Guadalajara there are buses of the “Continental Auto, S.A.” company that go to Alcalá de Henares. It is approximately a 15-minute ride.

• Line 221 () Guadalajara (Campus Guadalajara) – Alcalá de Henares – Madrid
• Line 221A Guadalajara – Alcalá de Henares

From these you can access the outside Campus with the Line 3 city buses.

By car:

From Guadalajara you can get to Alcalá de Henares via Autovía A-2 Madrid-Barcelona. There are several exits to enter the city, although the first one is Exit 34, which takes you to both the outside Campus and downtown.
